A lot of people get peace of mind from having the dealer do this work. Personally, for me, I like working on my boat and doing the winterizing and summarizing is always a labor of love. I have two friends who make up my primary crew for this and last year and they are both too poor to pay for gas etc. but they are there when it comes times to do the mundane cleaning and waxing and other stuff I don't like to do, so I can focus on the oil changes and hose removals and drainings and know it is done correctly.
