Best Lace Lock Solution

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I've tried multiple solutions with both hyperlite, and Ronix lace locks.

The ronix ones are better, but over a *short* time they usually start to loosen while riding.

Does anyone have a great solution for lace locks>?

Thanks

I've never had an issue with my CWB locks loosening while riding while in good condition. But the outer layer has ripped which now does allow the lock to loosen. Replacing them today. Seems a thicker lace will hold in the lock better. CWB and liquid force use the same lock type. The ronix laces are a bit thinner than those that came with my CWB.

I have 2015 boots from Ronix and their newest lace locks are a lot better than the old ones. Mine haven't loosened up on me once all summer.

Do either of you know if they are thicker than the laces that come on the 2014 boots? Riding buddy recently purchased a 2014 set up and the laces were quite thin and began to fray (twice now) with under a month of use. I'd guess that isn't a consistent outcome but wanted to ask.

not to thread jack but how do you like these boots? I have the ronix cell's which used to be the stiff binding, but in trying on the 2015 ones, they felt very stiff. How would you describe them?

I have the 2015 One boots and they're really really good. I'm no expert or anything in the sport, but they are amazing. Feet Belts and Intuition liner combo = amazing comfort and fit/feel.
