Shawn - I was agreeing with this statement about several leftover 15's for $88k and disagreeing with your comment on being able to walk over to WSA and get a 15 23LSV for 85k.

And really - posting all these boat's in areas that are in different time zones / come on!!!!! CA and Maryland (no water and will be winter next month) Not comparable comps! And on one down here the high najority of folks don't care about engine upgrades...dealers in TX order very few boats with them. Not a factor down here in re-sale / dealers sell against it.

That comp of the one for 79k is more realistic.

Umm, nope. MN Inboard is the #1 dealer in the country, #2 in the world. (#1 is some dealer in Canada)

So you are saying that in a region where new boats sell for less (OK I was off by 3k... it's 88 not 85) that a two year old boat with old engine, limited warranty coverage that will be expensive to switch, old dash, and old wedge will only be worth 9k less than a brand new boat?

We are just going to have to agree to disagree about that one. I don't see why anyone would ever buy used if the new is 9K** more with two more years of warranty coverage.

** really only 8K once you factor the cost of transferring the one year of remaining warranty coverage.

Some more realistic (git 'em sold) asking prices:

LS3 2014 with 50 hours for under 80k: http://www.boattrader.com/listing/2014-Malibu-Wakesetter-23-LSV-102579295 (that interior tho... afun?)

similar boat to OP's asking 79: http://www.boattrader.com/listing/2014-Malibu-Wakesetter-23-LSV-102587457

2014 with half the OP's hours asking 74: http://www.chessiemarine.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?veh=379261&pov=4257214

Who doesn't like candy apple green? ... Clearly a reupholster has been factored into that price. Is that where people are starting at or is it a low ball price to get people in the door and it's not dropping much from there? Like can you possibly pick one of those up for mid 60k?

I wish we had those prices north of the border!
