The picture of my dog with the leash was when she was a young pup.  The boat was tied up to the side of my houseboat and neither were moving - she just jumped out there and laid down.  We took the picture first (to keep her from moving) and then removed the leash.  The only time she has a leash on at the lake now is to keep her from swimming during night time potty breaks.  Dang dog would swim in a frozen lake if she could....
