Vibration

Recommended Posts

Read that you will help out fellow ski boat owners, looking at a very nice Brendella Pro Comp. on first ride boat has a vibration felt thru floor when under power. Since I have not owned a ski boat before but have owned a few I/O's, wondering if this is normal? Thanks in advance!

Could be a few things. Probably not normal though. What year is it?

Could just be the boat. Some vibrate more than others.

It's not a big block is it?

Does it have a spare prop you can try?

Take a ride in another old inboard to compare how bad the vibration is.

If it's not the prop, it could just be an old wood construction boat that's starting to rot. Check the engine mount lag bolts to see if they're tight.
