Bimini support pole

So taking the cover off the bimini top and starting to put it all together one of the front support bars slipped out of the cover and about 30' deep into Smith Lake. I looked at Bakes online and see tower parts but that is not one of them. Does anyone know where to get one of these?

Either commercial sewing or great lakes. What year is your boat? I'm guessing you have a commercial sewing if the pole fell out, the gl bimini has them attached to the front bar on a swivel.

I haven't seen any spare parts for our bimini's unfortunately. :/ I've totally had this fear.

Kneejerk reaction is take the other support pole and hit up a fabrication shop and see if they can at least get you the same outside diameter and angles (even if it's through two separate bends or something) with a make-shift pole.

The upside is Smith will drop another 8-10 feet, making it about 20' of water. You can give diving down there a shot at the beginning of October. :)

What part of Smith are you on? We keep our boat at Trident (at Big Bridge)

My father in law might try diving next week to get it. We made a make shift one out of copper pipe which worked really well but obviously we need to find the other one. We put in at Trident. We have a little place in between the bridge and Dam.

That's awesome. Hope he can find it!

If you see this boat on the water, that's me. Come say hello. We're usually up by the slalom course watching the single stick guys try to hurt themselves or over behind "the island" chilling between sets. There are one or two more of us on Smith as well. "Sighter" has a black/white '08 VRide and stays between Cullman and Big Bridge, and Chris4x4 is up on the other side of the dam towards the Jasper side. Both are super nice, super helpful guys.

hey I'm 4 miles west of Duncan across from the island there. If anyone finds their way that far west, let me know. We're up most weekends.
