Its now happened 4 times!! May, June, July, August. While underway standard wakeboarding or cruising boat shuts off. It throws the main breaker on top the Indmar 410, then throws the active engine fault SPN 66014 voltage below normal or shorted low. I spoke to Malibu and was told to check for loose grounds anywhere or loose battery terminals. Found nothing. Put boat thru 3 cycles to clear code, but again it happened. Took boat to Local dealer, they hooked up their computer and said specific nature of code led to problem in main relay fuse box atop engine. They checked service bulletin and replaced cover with a cover that has a dense foam bad to more securely hold the relays and fuses. They water tested it, then the next day I went out and 1 hr in the same thing happened. Again I put it thru 3 thermal cycles to clear the code. The boat worked great for a day but the second day it did it again. Any ideas??? they put in a call to Indmar? but it has been 3 weeks since and no call back. Anyone have any clue what might be going on?? boat has 142 hours on it

It sounds like they have it isolated to that fuse box. Could you replicate the problem on the lift or with the plunger in the drive way? If all they did was replace a plastic box cover it sounds like it is a loose wire coming in under the fuse box or a lame fuse holder in the box and it is shutting off when bounced around. If you jiggle the wires or the fuses and she shuts down on you I would bet you have found the issue. IIWM I would try to a DIY fix and save some money and what is left of the summer.
