'06 Perfect Pass Hiccup

Recommended Posts

I've got a '06 VRide. On Friday morning, I had to put a new battery in it due to someone(I will not say who) leaving the ignition on over the previous week. I boarded and surfed Friday morning after this and had no PP issues that I know of(my father in law was pulling me and didn't mention anything.)

Yesterday afternoon while pulling my wife surfing, I noticed that when the PP was on, the actual column was reading 0.0 mph as was the normal speedometer. The PP was holding the right speed but the speed was not registering on either gauge. When she fell, I jumped in and swam under the boat to make sure the paddle wheel was spinning freely, it was. Got back in and pulled her, same issue. What I did notice was that if I goosed the throttle it would start to register speed and would be fine after that. Any ideas?
