Nomad 155 or 160?

I am a beginner to intermediate wakeboarder. I have an easy heel side wake to wake, a couple 180's and am working feverishly on my toe side W2W. I am a big guy at 6'4" and ~285 lbs. I am about to order a slingshot nomad and am having a hard time deciding between the 155 and 160. I was leaning toward the 160 but noticed the 155 is almost an inch wider. I am not sure what this equates to in real world performance. Any advice is appreciated. If it matters, I X[rode]X edit: RIDE a HL forefront 144. Best board I have ridden is a 143 Watson hybrid. I wish they made that board in a 150ish but I'm thinking the SS will be a good fit for me.

Youre about as big as they get cant imagine the smaller board being a good idea.

Im of similar size and ride the same board. No experience on other boards. What dont you like about the Forefront?

I'm 6'2 230. just demoed the 155 a few weeks ago. then the 160 for a couple weeks now. I, too, am not a great wakeboarder. for me, I wanted smooth, easy, soft, fun, etc. the 155 was great. the 160 was that and then some for me. again, I'm looking for a cruiser, so the more the better. I don't see myself doing 180s, inverts or any other higher level tricks. I want to just have fun, not have to fully exert myself and wake up the next morning without sore knees or back. so far, so good. I say go 160.

Would you say the 160 "glides" a little better than the 155? I am not sure if the extra inch in width would help or hurt the glide on the water (the way I describe less glide is the feel of more pull from the boat). I would think the wider 155 would be a little slower on the carving turns being that it's wider and would, in theory, take a little longer to get from rail to rail. I dunno much about describing board characteristics so not sure if you understand what I am trying to describe. As far as the Watson hybrid goes, I liked how light, fast and loose it was on the surface but it really seemed to lock in when I got it on the rail. It also landed much softer than my forefront. I know comparing a forefront to a Watson hybrid is like comparing a kumquat to a juicy peach but they are the only two boards I have recent experience on.
