Stock amp and sub location

Recommended Posts

I need some help. I am the second owner of a 2007 Response LXi. It has the Sony Gigapanel, 4 Rockford Fosgate speakers, and the transom remote so I believe it should also have the external amp and the sub. Can anyone tell me where the amp and sub would be located? If it has a sub it appears it is not working so I would like to do some diagnostics but I do not want to tear the entire boat apart to try to find it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

A stock sub? Did the factory ever install one?

There was a point where I think they offered one set behind the helm facade before the move to R/F and the M12s4. Amp would have been in the port locker, but doubt there would have been an amp for 4 in-boats if there was not a sub. I think it would have been the Kicker 700.5 and L510 woofer. No sub = no amp and 4 in-boats would be on head-unit.

According to the brochure it would have been RF Punch amp and RF Punch Sub. I saw this review (below) in Waterski and thought I would have likely had it. I am the second owner and this was a dealer demo boat that has most options. PerfectPass, Power wedge, Heater, etc...
