Weird electric problems on 2005 Wakesetter (no blower, bilge pump, or interrior lights options on menu?)

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, really stumped on this one and have no idea where to start. I already checked the batteries (both at 12v) and the breakers by the driver seat are all fine...?

Left selection menu is not showing options.

Horn (works) Blower(doesnt work) Bilge pump(doesnt work) ------- Nav lights (work)

Press left button once. Horn ---- ------ interrior lights ( works)

No other options.

It used to have all the other lights etc, but now theyre all gone... Including the dash lights.

-checked all grounds, check all medallion fuses. etc, breakers, and batteries. Is there a way to reprogram the ecu or conrol menu?

So I went through, everything and I couldnt find any loose grounds or anything of the sort. Its like theres something wrong with the left menu. I opened up the medallion unit and checked all the fuses, and manually jumped the other fuse slot and the bilge pump did in fact come on.

... so what would cause the Left control for the lights and the bilge pump to not be sending or receiving the signals?

????? Opened up the Medalion unit? Are we talking about the same boat as in the title. 2005 Wakesetter?? There is nothing about the Medalion unit that does anything other than gather information and send it to the gauges. ALL switches on that boat are simple analog switches that have a ground, power supply (usually coming from a breaker) and a load (for the appliance that is supposed to be activated by the switch). A digital volt meter and possibly an alligator clip to the ground buss bar will be your best method of trouble shooting. You need to verify power going INTO the switch and power going OUT of the switch first. Then check for power at the specific appliance to verify if it's the power supply or the product.

Whenever you say left menu, There are switches on the left and right side of the steering wheel but nothing about these switches is digital to show up or not show up. Are you sure this is a 2005 and not a 2008 ?
