Help! Need more push on my wake

Ok, so here was our setup yesterday:

'83 Skier:

550 lbs on each side of the motor box plus DIY gate on the starboard corner. Driver and passenger plus one body stern surf side (riding port wave). I had the rub rail on the water and the wave is clean. About 9.9-10.4 mph

The pocket is 18" from the teak and has almost no push.

Is this the best I'm going to get with a 19 6" Bu?

Do I need weight in the bow ? It seems that that would only make my wave smaller....

Thanks

Bow weight wont raise the back of the boat. It will push the front of the boat down so there is more boat in the water. On a DD I can't imagine you would need more than 4-500 up front

Ok, added roughly 300 pounds under the bow. What a difference! The pocket is about 5 feet from the boat now, and we can ride it all the way to the swim step
