My Rescued Malibu 21 XLV Project

The transducer wire cannot run near other wires or it will interfere. I would recommend unplugging the stock depth finder and installing a $100 Humminbird or Faria unit. These units are more reliable and parts for your stock one will cost more than $100. The depth module is a small plug to the left of the steering wheel under the dash. If you can't find it I can get a photo this weekend.

Man its hard to believe that's the same boat. Looks really great. It would look even better without the Ford in the photo. ?

The transducer is to the starboard side of the v drive. Round and about 2" diameter with a wire coming right out the top.
