Installing teak swim deck

Recommended Posts

pointb912

I had to do some maintenance work on my swim deck. Well actually it fell off then I had to do some maintenance. I'm getting ready to put it back on my 1990 euro f3. It has the molded spot for the swim deck to sit on. Do I need to put any thing on between the boat and deck like a silicone or can I just put it in place and screw it down

I would just screw it down. Anything you put under it may cause funk to grow.

Sounds like yours is like mine. I've never taken mine off, afraid the screw holes will strip. I don't think mine has any caulk/sealant that I can see.
