1997 Echelcon Pillion Cap/Plug

Recommended Posts

MN Inboard does not have anymore part#001247 for my 1997 Echelon Pillion. They told me to check with other dealers, but were unable to give me a list of dealers to call. Really want to get a new plug/cap because it looks terrible and allows debris to get into the swivel. Any ideas on who to call for this NOS part? I have pictures and would like to post them but not sure how "sorry". It is a black plastic cap which tapers from the outside to a 1" flat spot in the center.

Try alternate dealers and suppliers like Bakes, SkiDim, Marine Hardware. After that, a simple plastic cap for that hole size from an industrial supply house or hardware store is an option (McMaster Carr, Grainger, Fastenal).

Perfect. Exactly what I needed. Dealers seemed to be clueless on this one, but I guess the boat is almost 20 years old. Thanks for the help.

GreatlakesSkipper buys up old/obsolete parts from a lot of manufacturers, so it is a good place to take a look at when looking for older parts. The fact that they have them pretty much says that Malibu doesn't sell the part any more.
