Lost platform pin/lock

After a week on Dale Hollow Lake, found one of my platform lock pins missing. Maybe someone kicked it loose during the 30 plus hours of use. Anyone else have them come up missing? I know they were both securely and properly latched at launch. Need to source a new one now. Maybe get 2 so I have a spare for next time. Mine is a 2012 VLX.

Since I rarely remove my platform, I just use stainless bolts with nylon lock nuts.

Here is a source for them - i bought spares a few years ago.

I lost one of mine. I think the dealer replacement was around $15? Non ow I check to make sure that they haven't rotated after I use the boat each time.

Should just drill the half moon plastic for some safety wire since I never remove the platform.

Those are for the old style platforms like what id on my inlaws 04 lxi

Had the same thing happen on my 15 A22. Went to local hardware store and got a 1/2" dia clevis pin and a cotter key. The pins are not supposed to come out...it did. Thought about a blot and nylon lock nut, may do that.

Old ones are definitely more secure, new style rattles a lot less.
