Cleaning the Tower - What to Use?

Recommended Posts

I just use a wet rag laid over a section at a time to get the bugs loosened up and then once they are gone some wax on everything so that they don't stick as much. On my list for tomorrow, 300 miles worth of bugs on it at the moment.

I've got 600 miles of northwoods bugs.

I use an old toothbrush for the really nasty stuff. Most of what ends up on my tower is sunblock and sweat, both dry to a white chalky consistency that takes some brushing to get rid of.

What's stuck on your tower that you're trying to remove?

Thanks . . . Mostly bugs from towing. Once clean, i'm stretch wrapping it on the next long tow.
