2003 Monsoon 335 fuel pump

In the process of changing out fuel pump I had to put new ends on gray and black wires and now pump wont prime. Wondering if somehow I got wires crossed. I have gray wire going to small terminal. Can anyone with same engine and Indmar part number 556184 fuel pump check theirs and tell me if I have them backwards

There are + / - indicators on the pump. They are hard to see and are in the plastic housing near the posts. The pump should prime with one or two key ups.

Turns out the kill switch crapped out while replacing the pump. It may have been the issue the whole time. Once I realized the gauges weren't powering up when I turned the key I jumped around the switch and pump started priming. Thanks for the post @grandude, guess I didn't see the markings, not for lack of trying.
