Swivel racks

My 2007 has factory racks that no longer lock in place when swiveled. Anyone know what's up? Is the rack toast?

Is it that they don't stay in the locked position and can swivel uncommanded or is it you can't get the pin to set? If its that they don't stay in the locked position then they need to be cleaned, specifically, the holes the pins go into. Lubing them will only make it worse.

Yep, clean the pins and wipe the holes out real good. You want friction to keep them locked in. Having one of those suckers swivel while at speed is bad news and can ruin someone's pretty face. There's also some threads on here with folks having the same issues.
