My initial T22 review

Love the T22. I just added bags and the panel divider kit tonight, can't wait to check out a real wave this weekend on it, finally done with the break in hours!

Bama,

In your opinion, is there any truth to the seats being thinner, less plush, or less comfortable than a 'bu?

I know you asked for Bama's opinion, but I'll give you mine. :)

I don't think the vinyl is thinner. The Malibu's seem like they have more foam. Seem denser. Vinyl stretched tighter.

I don't think Axis is less or more comfortable. They're both comfortable.

I'll agree with above.. same vinyl, just doesn't seem to be stretched as tight. Still every bit as comfortable as both Malibus I've owned. Doesn't feel cheap or thin though. They rebound quick and are still supportive.

I agree with the comments about the interior. In my opinion I feel the difference is that there is not as much 3d detail to the axis interior. The cushions are just as thick, vinyl is just as nice, and seats are just as comfortable.

I don't know the specifics about it. But I get in and out of my txi and a friends 14 t22 all the time. I can't tell a difference. Sure the seat designs are different but that is all I notice.

Here's my question... how long is it gonna take for the mods to move this thread to the Axis forum, where it belongs?

Feeling like the Axis folks crossed the tracks IXFE? :Tease3:

my dash (its dirty, I need to wipe it down so it shines again):

I know it's been said before, but I just can't get past the dash. Heater vents on the dash? If that was changed, I'd probably be in an Axis right now.

Nothing against Axis... just pointing out the irony of bama intentionally posting an Axis thread in the Malibu forum when it was he, playing forum police, that got Afun's boat ramp thread moved to Off Topic.

Just ironic is all... sort of like when I see a cop driving with a cell phone to his ear.

Can we move this thead to the off-topic section yet?

Wow?! I LOVE the dash vents! That said, seems like the dash the biggest gripe across the board.

Yeah, the dash stinks. But, I forget all about it behind the boat. ;)

We weren't keen on the dash location either. Dealer custom installed the heater vents here

with a 3rd vent blowing on the driver.
