Rlxi Cooler Won't Drain

Recommended Posts

Water has been standing in there for a couple of days now. I took a wire close hanger and pushed it through the hole....doesn't seem to be obstructed by anything. Not a lot of room to maneuver with the closed cooling to take out the panel in the bilge between the motor box and cooler, so I hoping to avoid doing that.

Any ideas?

Edit - Yes I have the bow jacked up plenty high.

Mine does the same thing. I had water in there for a long time until I sucked it out with a vaccuum. Unless the bow is up, the water just sits in there. On my boat anyway, there needs to be a pretty good angle to the boat to get the water to drain out.

IMHO, the drain needs to be in the center of the floor and not 1/2 inch up the sidewall. Just not a good design for proper drainage.
