Not a huge fan of Chrome but-- a HUGE fan of carbon. I haven't seen this done before so figured I would share.

If you had chrome it would be pretty easy to get some 3M carbon fiber vinyl and wrap them to get that look on the cheap.

I had them dipped in carbon and side pieces painted black.

Next will be the kick panel around the sub to match and bring it all together.

Great plan on the sub to tie in the scheme. Just my opinion, but I would do an inlay or trim ring around the subwoofer in the carbon fiber finish. You could get a bit creative or three dimensional with the shape. The entire kick panel surface would be too much of a good thing....IMO.

That's the plan- I have the BIG 12 and it looks like its made of some sort of fiber already. Cant wait to get it all done.

I'm even considering ripping the amp rack out again doing it in carbon.

I would have a full carbon fiber boat if there was an option :)
