Wedge actuator causing low voltage?

Recommended Posts

I have had the notorious error message about the port side actuator (drawing excess voltage) come on several times when restarting my boat on the water with the wedge fully deployed.

I searched and found lots of threads relating to the above.

What I did not see was anything about the boat failing to start due to the fault. I had to try several times before it would crank.

Has anyone else experienced this error causing the boat not to start? Could the actuator be drawing so much power the boat is unable to start? Or do you think it's another problem altogether?

This is on a 2013 247 with 120 hrs.

Thanks!

Parker
