WS-420 Noise Question

Charlie

Recommended Posts

So I have some noise with my new install and I want to use the jumper wire in the WS-420 BT and can't figure out how to get the 420 apart. I figured there were topics on this but I'm not seeing them in any forum searches.

I've messed around with my ground (running it to the amp source) and that seemed to help a little, but I still have more noise than is acceptable. The blue tooth seems like it might be a little worse.

I'm trying to figure out if the power source needs to moved, some RCAs are getting some interference or?

Figured I'd use the jumper wire option first, but can't figure out how to slide the 420 apart. I suspect the noise will be magnified once the motor is running.

Any advice is appreciated -

Charlie

Two small bolts on the top part sides, and the whole top should come off. I had a lot of noise as well but it was rcas running by power wires on the back of my amp board, cleaning that up fixed it for the most part
