Trick Release

So I finally received and installed my new trick release. It is a KW and I ordered it from Lake Elmo Sports. The engineering in the thing is pretty impressive and they even made it with a red rope to match the boat. I was a little concerned that the rope wouldn't clear the engine cover but it does by a few inches and it doesn't seem to get in the way when the engine cover is raised.

I got it so my daughter can work on her swivel ski toe turns and I may work up the courage to ride my trick ski with a toe hold rope.

I became the equipment director for the ski club this winter. This is on "my" new Hydrodyne twin rig.
