buzzer/alarm sound on 94 skier?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

We have a 94' malibu skier, it started making a loud buzzing sound from the key box, it sounds exactly like the alarm if you hold the key in the start position for to long. It comes on randomly, and it intermittent in its sound, a lot like faulty wiring.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks so much

The alarm is for high engine temp, low oil pressure or high trans temp. If is comes and goes off intermittently you may want to check the wiring or the sensors.

Yea we are getting a new oil sender gauge. My dad thinks that it's just the wiring because the motor is running fine, the oil pressure gauge isn't responding, so we figure a new sender is a good place to start. We've heard that on these Chevy 350 motors the oil sender has many troubles, and this one has never been replaced.
