Pump Fittings

One of the tsunami pumps that came with the boat went in the drink over the weekend, thanks to a crew mate that enjoyed a couple too many beverages... He bought a new one a couple weeks ago so we'd have two, along with 3,000lbs of Sacs for my boat, so I can't get too mad. I'm on him to replace it but either way i like having two on the boat for more speed and also as a back up. I've seen them for $119 with the fittings and hose and I've also seen them for $30 without. Where do I get the fittings to make one and which ones do I need? They're all "fly high"

wakemakers.com has all the fittings you need but it will cost you about 90 bucks to make one. Spend the extra money and just buy one put together. This is adding up all the parts to make one. I made one with some extra parts I had laying around but it's just easier to buy one.

What is the name of the fittings I'd need on the pump side? I was thinking of making one that split so I can fill both rear bags at once.

Why not just use 2 pumps to fill the rear bags? It takes the same time to fill if it's split vs fill one and then filling the other. You can add 12v outlets anywhere so use both pumps you have and fill both bags at once

Well, we do now actually but it would be nice IF I plumbed them in to just flip a switch and let it be hassle free to have a little more uninterrupted conversation time etc. Plus, it would be even then if you only wanted to fill half way without having to time the pump time.

I'm not sure the y would provide even filling but you could be correct. I would wait til winter and save the money and get reversible pumps and you can just flip a switch! I did that last year and it is so much better! But like others posted you can get everything you need off wakemakers if that's the route you decide to go
