Braided Line Fittings

Recommended Posts

I've got some leaking going on where the spent water goes into the exhaust. I've got the 383 with the braided lines. The swivel fitting has cracks on the inside and need to be replaced. Anyone know where I can find these?

I finally found those on Summit as well. I was hoping to find something at a local parts store so I can match the size. Going to try NAPA because O'riellys and AutoZ didn't have anything like it.

If those are AN fittings then your best bet would be a good hardware store look for jic-37 gas fittings (natural gas /propane)

I believe they are AN fittings. I had never heard of the AN measurement scale until looking at these on Summit/JEGS.

Edit jic 37 is a hydraulic fitting. Been a while since I plumbed my jeep with them

So is a 3/4" JIC compatible with -12AN? If so, I think I found what I needed.

It looks like there is an adapter between fitting and pipe, which makes sense because the pipe is probably NPT vs AN.

That's just the swivel nut.

No. 12AN is a 1 1/16 - 12 JIC 37

8AN is a 3/4

Chart here. Dash size = AN size

Thanks for the reply OldJeep. How/what do I measure to find out which AN size I need to order?

Finally found a local place that carried Aeroquip Performance fittings. After going everywhere I could think of, a local place that specilizes in dirt track racing carries them! Thanks for the replies.
