Wakesurf board for child

Have 11 year old that can surf without rope. He has used 52 tc skim, broadcast, and phase 5 diamond and hammerhead. All are obviously too big for him to control. I'm either going to get him phase 5 scamp or 48 tc skim. Do you have any thoughts or suggestions. He weighs around 95.

I am getting my 11, 9, and 7 year old the Scamp. I have been told by many that the newer style with 3 fin set-up is the way to go. WakeMakers has them in stock!

we had the O.G. scamp with the single fin when my son was your son's age/size. It made all the difference from going from standing on the board without the rope to actually riding the board.

The three fin scamp is probably even more versatile.... letting kids start out really locked in with all the fins and then move on to riding it as a single.
