No. I did use vinyl edge trim that I had laying around from a computer case build I did, and it makes a nice tight seal that is soft on the edges, but probably not watertight.You could probably make it watertight with a gasket, but that seemed like too much work and $$ for me. This was mainly to keep that accidental spalshes/rain off of stuff and also to keep it from bouncing out. I made this in about 30 minutes so it wasn't super-engineered.

that looks just like the glove box on my MB! Interestingly enough MB is going BACK to that birdbath/punchbowl style "glovebox" this year and are selling the covered glovebox as an option/upgrade.

LOL...anything to make a few extra $$. I don't mind the birdbath style so much, its easy to access and all but it seems like a cover should just be standard.
