dock shocks

Hi there, recently purchased a new to me boat, don't hate me a Tige, but I love it, and therefore do not want to scratch it up at the dock. What is everyone using to keep boat away from dock. I like the look of the dock shock by dock calm, and like that they are portable. Your thoughts, thanks

Interesting setup. It could work. But takes a little tinkering, and maybe a mod or two to your dock & cover to make it fool proof.

I made mine out of PVC & rope from Home Depot. Took some tinkering on my part, but its quick & easy on & off the dock. The PVC is doubled up,, one inside the other.

I don't take it with me, but use Exile boat bumpers & Radar dock ties at other docks.

Comes down to what set up you're comfortable with. Want to tie right up and use bumpers? Is your dock higher than the rub rail? Is your hull half way up the dock?

Mooring whips are very similar to the Dock Shocks. It will keep the boat off the dock.
