What do I need for wakeboard/surf?

I have an '00 23LSV, no factory ballast. It came with one (I'll say 500-750lb, not sure) bag that takes up most all of the ski locker when filled.

We're about 50/50 on wakeboarding and surfing... What weights do I need and where and how much and where for boarding vs surf? The boat has a wedge and 3 batteries on the port side rear locker that I'd rather not relocate.

move your batteries to the observers seat and plumb in some 750's or 1100's in the rear lockers. You will also need about 700-1000 in the front.

1100 in rear locker, 360 tube sac under/on side seats, 360 tube in ski locker and about 500 in bow. Wedge down 10.5- 11 mph . I've done this with as little as 200 lbs of crew but the more the better. It works for me and should give you a solid reference to start.

...and is there and good links for a "how to" with pictures or video of how to plumb a couple in to where I can just flip a switch and fill say, both rears automatically with a tsunami pump while I manually fill a couple others? If so, how would I go about emptying them just flipping another button?

1100 on surf side. I have also been filing non-surf side about 3-400. But thats not neccessary. There are a few of us with similar style/age boats that have plumbed in a system. Most are using three Johnson or Jabsco pumps. I don't have the links but if you spend some time searching you'll find em. Or maybe someone will chime in with the links.

If you use an aerator pump you will need one to fill and one to empty. I would suggest using a reversible.
