Crew it has been a while since I posted anything but I am dying to get the boat in the water. With that said I booked a trip to Lake Mead today on a whim. I haven't been to Lake Mead before so looking for some pointers on where to drop the boat in, where to go to possibly avoid crowds and get good water? Any pointers you can give will be extremely awesome. I know this is the best place to get the most honest and best advice. Thanks Crew

Best launch ramp is at Callville Bay (it is worth the extra time it takes to get there). If the upper basin is choppy continue east through the narrows and you most likely will find smooth water (and vice versa). We like to have all the fun behind the boat past the narrows and look to beach in Hamblin Bay or Sandy Beach. It's a big lake, you will find what you are looking for.
