electrical issues with my 2005 malibu wakesetter

Hey everyone. I am really having a difficult time figuring out how to fix my boat.

I was getting my boat ready for the season and noticed that the battery was dead so I tried to jump it and it did not work so I replaced the battery and now the right part of the gauges are not working (fuel and depth finder). everything else is working fine.

I checked the wires and it seems that there is no power running to that particular part. Could it be the fuses? Does anyone know where to locate the fuses for the fuel/temp and speedometer/depth finder? are there fuses to those?

I'm not sure about your specific model, but check the circuit breakers and look for fuses under the helm and on the panel forward of the throttle. If still no joy, use a meter or test lamp to trace the power to the gauges. Keep in mind that you could also have a loose ground, so you should check the ground block under the helm as well.

Does the fuel pump come on for a few seconds when you turn the key on? If not, take a look at the safety lanyad switch. An easy way to check the lanyard switch is to push it in with your finger with the key on.
