Question about building my amp rack

Is 1/2" plywood thick enough for a 4 amp setup or should I go with 3/4"? Seems like 1/2" would work but may be slightly borderline. 3/4" will certainly get heavy with all the amps on there!

I have made a couple out of 3/8 King starboard and have been plenty pleased with it. It cost more, but no worries about moisture and it warping or anything. Obviously, if the rack gets direct water on it, warping of the rack would be the least of my concerns. But couldn't humidity cause the plywood to warp, especially if you then heated up the amp compartment to 100 degrees?
