Something I have looked for but never replaced. Is it in tank? Has anyone ever replaced? Not having any issues but I just like to be thorough in my maintenance.

I just did mine on my 07VLX. If it is the same WIX 33048 is what you need.

Yes, at the risk of sounding ignorant, I'm pretty sure mine is the 340. I think the 340 was the standard engine, I do not recall upgrading the engine when I bought it new. Good question though, I need to check and verify.

I have traced the fuel line from tank to throttle body over the years and no filter that I can find, thus I figure it is in the tank on the pick-up line. Going to pull mine out of winterization this week and plan to service and get ready for Memorial Day weekend.

Here are some images another member shared with me. On my VLX the orange hose connects to my fuel tank under the back center cushion. To access the fuel filter you need a pair of good snap ring pliers. Be sure your fuel system isn't pressurized. Your fuel filter is under that hose and it is ridiculously small.
