really stupid tach question

I have a 2014 vtx with the 350 monsoon. I can not figure out how to get rpm's to display. What am I missing? Thanks.

Ahh, you are about to learn a sad truth. The only way to get the tach to show is to hit the cruise button twice to switch to RPM mode. There is no way to see speed and tach at the same time. The one thing about my boat that absolutely drives me insanely mad.

Use to not even be able to see hours without going into the diagnostics menu on the maliview.

Pretty weak. I'm guessing support for the old maliview is all but over. Its ok, just tune your ear to decide if you're pushing it too hard
