Which font of domed numbers?

So I can't decide which font of domed numbers to go with. What do you guys think? Would it look better to match the Wakesetter graphic, or match the "Malibu" graphic at the rear of the boat? Either way I think I want black with chrome outline, which is what both graphics are on my '14 VLX.

I'm having the same dilemma. I'm leaning towards the 2014 wakesetter font or the Malibu one. Probably going new Wakesetter font. Silver and Red.

+1 vote for Malibu. I really prefer the '14+ graphics over my '13. But based on that pic I really don't like how the chrome bridges the gaps. I have the malibu font and really like it.

I went with the 14-15 Wakesetter font for my registration numbers. This is ebony with chrome trim.

I also had matching emblems made for my boat model emblem.

Looks great but Wakesetter font on a Response emblems is a bit of an oxymoron!

Sorry if a dumb question, but where do you buy boat numbers? I'm registering my first boat and see the DNR cashed my check, which means I'll have to figure this out soon.

Ok, I see domednumbers is a vendor. A bit pricey for decals?

When you registered it at dmv they should have given you numbers. Not physical number stickers, you have to go buy them and apply before first time on water.

I send the registration by mail so assume they'll assign numbers for me to buy when I get their response back. It looks like the old ones will be a pain to remove without scratching the gel coat.

I would have thought so as well, but then I saw the 15' TXI using the Wakesetter font and really liked it. So I went with it. Really happy with the font - it helps update the look of the boat.

There are several different places you can get custom numbers. The domed are a little pricey, but they match. Paid members to this site also get a discount.

mine peeled off in the sun with my fingernails. Then I used a wool pad and some polishing compound to clean up the surface of all the sticky glue and dirt.

Be sure and clean the surface with alcohol before you reapply new numbers.

I agree. I like the look of the new emblems on the 15's. That boat looks 100x better in person btw!

I used a hair dryer to heat the number and then peeled it off slowly.

There's also a vinyl remove that sprays on, penetrates through the vinyl layer and attacks the glue. Can't recall the name, but I made a post about it here.,..it's called vinyl off

I have tried calling and emailing Domed Numbers. I've gotten no response from either. Has anyone else run into this issue?
