Malibu boats 2015 Q3

Net sales per unit for the third quarter of fiscal 2015 increased approximately 3.5% to $66,084 compared to the third quarter of fiscal 2014 and net sales per unit in the U.S. increased approximately 6.7% over the same period in fiscal 2015.

Does this mean that the average dealer cost for a boat is roughly $66K?

Yes, but that is an average of axis and Malibu. Look at it this way, the dealers only sell a small number of boats each year. They have to keep the showroom, employees, etc all year, and pay for events like boat shows. They need a significant margin on each sale just to keep the doors open.
