Hitch question

I am interested in using these because the hitch lock I am using makes it difficult to attach the cables. I just don't know if they make them in a HD version worth using.

I'll take a pic to illustrate , but the jest is the hitch is a very flush fit to the bumper and the hitch lock is in tight quarters to the loops. The spring hooks are larger and sometimes pinch the $** out of my fingers

Ah, so you intend to hang a pair of them from the truck and clip your cables to them.

Looks like plenty of options that are good for the weight

Quite the price difference between the mc master and etrailer.com

$3 vs $95 for the 10k rating??

8947T23 would be the equivalent McMaster part $5.50

The interesting thing on the e-trailer site is this picture

Another "10K" rated quick link that is clearly stamped 3300lbs They say 10K with 3300 working load. The McMaster are listed by their working load.

From what little I could find on the internet it appears that for most chain - breaking load = 3x max working load.
