Non-slip black deck adhesive

Hello. Just pulled trigger on new 24 MXZ. Considering having dealer place the black adhesive sticker on decking to help prevent slips. Salesman at dealer said it tends to peel after a while. I was wondering what others experience has been with this? Have you noticed peeling of the material after a while? I personally think it looks cool and should help our three kids from dangerous slips since anticipate a lot of jumping off the bow...

Also- what is your favorite type of carpet / flooring in your malibu?

What is the current flooring? Lots of people here are using SeaDek or GatorStep for the gunnels (I think that's what they are called) the upper rail where the kids jump off on the bow. I'm thinking about getting some Deckadense flooring for my 2005 Malibu that has standard old carpeting. I just need to send them a template. Those are good to start looking at. Each has its pros and cons but all are better than no carpet, or slipping and causing an injury.

I am going to replace my black grip tape with the Gatorstep. About $225 for the gunnel kit. And yes some of my black grip tape is already peeling off, especially near the pass thru by the floor and under the rear hatch.
