Cjay, what version of software do you have on your MTC? Glad you got the boat out, always a fun day for maiden voyage!

When I looked at it, it said 122014

I didn't take a ton form today, I was too busy playing with the boat, but here are a couple

That second image is cool!! Did you take it by just leaving over the edge or....?

I had my go pro set to take snap shots every 5 seconds while it records. I have it on a pole and just held it over the side. I was just lucky we had perfect glassy conditions. I could never have taken that shot that cool on purpose.

Day 2

- this engine is way better than the marine power, with our early crew is usually 3-4 for early morning sets, and at that number of people with tanks+full 750s+1000lbs nose bag+wedge 2 clicks up we could plane out pretty easy for wake boarding

- boat loves bow weight. Helps planing, firming up the wake and lengthening the pocket of the surf wave. Ran it with just the tank and the wave was too short and tall

- power wedge 2 is awesome, great for planing, and super adjustable

- all the way around much happier with its performance

We have more ability to tune this wave, we couldn't go over 10mph and but a click or two of wedge, when running the same ballast above

We can run full ballast, any speed, and any wedge setting. I had a short mountain wave to a long lippy wave and everything in between today. I'd say due to that we could set it for more push and a much longer pocket, the vlx is better. I also think the new wedge helps a ton.

That is pretty impressive for a shorter boat. We have been surfing with 800's in the lockers and a 650 bow bag, hard tanks full and wedge. I think the wave is good but I don't really have much to compare it to. Seeing as you had an lsv that gives credibility to the new vlx wave.
