My option 2 came with a cranking battery and a deep cycle, I then had them put in a second deep cycle to bank with the first

Two cranking batteries doesn't make a ton of sense.

My option 2 came with 2 starting batteries. Are batteries dealer installed/provided, or do they actually come out of the factory with them? Mine are both Interstates

I believe the dealer installs them. Mine are both interstate, but one was cranking and one deep cycle. I would assume most dealers would do this, because 2 cranking batteries makes zero sense, even for the RF setup

It was the same in my LSV

I'm trying to figure out how running the switch in "Both" would make any sense if you had 2 non identical batteries.

You still charge them both with the alternator. I only run in both when underway. We start on the cranking always, then switch to both, if we are hanging out we switch to the bank of deep cycles only. I also use a trickle charger on them at night if we ran them hard

My dealer set up my perko backwards, which was fun to find out when we were doing the install and tuning. My system drained the cranking battery in less than an hour

Guess it depends why you want 2 batteries, for me it is a backup so that I can run the boat if one fails. I haven't got anything but the stock radio with no tower speakers, so there is no issue leaving it run for a few hours.

Be interesting to see what folks have actually received in their boats. My parts list says that mine are both 24M-HD Starting Batteries. (A list I made - not anything that came from the dealer)

Double check with your dealer, but I believe that it is:

Battery option 1 - 1 battery

Battery option 2 - 2 batteries with perko (neither is deep cycle)

Battery Option 3 - 2 batteries and an ACR

This makes sense. I ordered battery option 3....I see a BEP ACR, but no onboard charger (like ProMariner)
