Rudder seal blown out

So I decided to grease my rudder and I guess I did one pump too many. Grease exited the top of the rudder with a pop sound...now what do I need to do to fix this? I have grease on the top part of the rudder so I'm guessing it's blown out

I did the same thing not long ago. Advice I received from TMC was to remove the grease fittings, and turn the steering wheel back and forth a few times to relieve any pressure. Also make sure your brass key is still in the rudder key-way.

Ok phew I didn't want to have to pull the rudder. Im getting burnt out with upgrades and replacing parts this spring, and that takes a lot for me
