When I called the factory and asked them the same question, they told me to use a steam cleaner (bissell type or something like it) with no cleaner, just water. I haven't tried it yet. My dealer told me to power wash it and suck up the excess water with a shop vac.

The above two mentioned methods I would put at the top of my list. Be careful with the power washer, you don't want to soak the dash or rip the carpet/glue off the floor, but even a high pressure hose nozel works surprisingly well. I have since moved on to the bissel steam cleaner and have had incredible results.

I have a Bissell Little Green and swear by it. A bit small, but it does a great job on a boat sized job.

I use a full sized Bissell and it has a handheld built into it so I use that for the smaller areas.

Works well.
