We do nothing but slalom and cruise with my dad's '01 VLX, but I used to surf it a lot with that prop too.  2300 RPM surfing with my 250 lb butt could go ropeless all day, though the wave was short-ish.  That prop also yanks me out on a slalom ski every bit as hard as my Response with the 525.  Great prop.  @braindamage might be a good spare for your sis.

I realized today the listing is in a private group, but $2k for a T3 with a boat is less than I new T2. It's probably only good for skinny beam boats though.

Yeah I don't follow the prices of boats over 50k that closely, or really post surf gate boats, but it seemed pretty reasonable for the best all around boat with all the options I would want. Not to mention the splurge on the sidewinder boom when you could probably run a normal pylon boom on the removable pylon.
