This looks like a super clean and solid buy for someone. Let me know if anyone local (New Mexico) picks this one up.  I could go check it out if anyone wants to ship it elsewhere.

What a douche barge...

LOL he kept the stock sub?  wtf?  I'd sure like to see how he's powering all of those speakers.

I cant imagine the weight of all that on the tower. I wouldnt buy that boat for that reason alone.

again?! the owner must be related to the owner of a similar boat in NorCal that had so many speakers that the G3 tower had extra bracing installed.

$50K "invested" in stereo?  And only getting 20K for it?  Sounds about right (pun intended).

Really nice price on one of the best crossover boats of all time.  Anyone in the Midwest looking for a project could buy this, spend a day with rubbing compounds on a DA polisher, and turn around to re-list it for a good $3k higher.

One of my best friends had a boat exactly like this.  Useless for slalom especially at slow speeds.  They always  slalomed behind my Response.

My sister’s family was looking at this boat but the owner told them it sold last Saturday.

I've spent 18 years behind an 01 slalom skiing. Your results are very different than mine and that of most here who've skied one. Below 30 mph I agree with you that it's not great. Above, if you're a halfway decent skier, the wakes won't bother you.

Google "best slalom V drive" and this is pretty much the consensus pick.

That is one hell of a good price.  Dated interior color but it will go quick.

Lol, no.  The SV23 diamond hull in a Vdrive ('01 Sunsetter VLX, '02-'04 Sunscape 21LSV) are one of the best Vdrive boats for slalom ever made.  My guess is you were not on one of those boats...

With the exception of the VTX, "slalom" and "V-drive" should not be in the same sentence.  I guess if you are completely recreational skier they are ok. But not for anyone serious about slalom.

01-04 skis a shade better than the VTX in my experience. They're extremely close. Blindfolded I'd be hard pressed to tell you which I was behind. You must not have been behind a diamond version. I've skied into 28 off in the course behind my dad's 01. It's not a response but it's no turd.
