It is on the Mac but, I have flash and in fact, updated it yesterday.

Still maybe pilot error?

I'll fire up my PC and see what I get.

The advanced uploader works fine on Mac in Safari with a Flash plugin. I use it quite often. I cannot speak to the other browsers though.

Well,

I pulled the PC out of the safe and it still won't open any sort of new window when I hit Try our advanced uploader (requires Flash 9).

All it does is jump up to the top of the screen. Am I the only one who can't get this to work. Have you admins. tried it and it works for you?

Posted using Aurora (Mozilla's development browser), with the advanced uploader. I switched back & forth between uploaders to check it & although it does have a tendency to jump to the top of the page, it makes the switch fine & I can upload with no difficulty. I can do the same in Safari. Like I said, I use this all the time with no problems so I'm relatively sure that it isn't a problem with the board.

Try Safari with no plugins (only Flash should be needed) & see what happens. I'm guessing that you've got a plugin that's hosing things up.

I'm on Safari now, wow this thing is fast.

But, it still just jumps to the top of the screen.

Oh well, I'll just deal with it.

Yeah, Safari is really the cat's pajamas in OSX IMO.

Once you have the uploader set to the one that you want to use, you shouldn't have to keep changing it. I'm assuming that it's the link to switch uploaders that's causing it to jump to the top of the page?
