So trying to make up my mind. I wanted the 2 sets of rev 8's from Malibu. Like they way they match the boat. problem is you only get a RF 500 watt amp from factory. Not anywhere near enough for that set up. So once boat gets here have to trash that amp and get a bigger one. At that point I could do 4 rev 10s and amp from wetsounds. So get the rev 8s that match a little netter and have Malibu logo on them. (more of a stock look) or 4 rev 10s after the fact. Same money

Rev10's with the G3 mounting brackets. Much nicer look than the shelf mounts the factory use IMHO. I am assuming you have the G3 tower?

Yes g3 tower. I like the way the new set up looks

I would check with wetsounds to see if the rev10's would mount to the factory shelves. Mine would not.

can you get Rev 8's from the factory? I thought they were Icon 8's.

I didn't think you had to purchase the tower amp from the factory, even if you purchase the factory tower speakers.

Yes you can get Rev 8s from Malibu now. They have Malibu logo. Its a all or nothing deal. Take tower speakers and 500 watt RF amp or nothing at all

Kinda wanted the REV 8s with logo. They are different from ordering from wetsounds. Grill is more brushed looking than chrome. In the end I ordered with out speakers. Ordered REV 10s from wetsounds with bigger amp. We all know and so does Malibu that 500 RF amp not near enough to push 4 rev 8s. But Malibu would not put a bigger amp in it.

What if you ordered the icon 8's after the fact from your dealer? Could you get the Malibu logo'd speakers shipped in a box without the tower amp?
