Removing life jacket material from fat sac

I've got one of those vests too, or should I say had. I just chunked it after the last trip. It left black on my sun pad and seats. I was able to get it off with Vinyl Sauce. It sat in my locker against another vest and actually left some marks and a bit of the black foam on the material of another vest. I've not been able to get that off.

This may be of no help at all, but if it were me, I would get a sound grip on the black foam and yank with vigor, pulling the entire sack and foam conglomeration out of the boat and toss them into the nearest trash recepticle. Following that you should proceed to just ski on as small a wake as possible. Problem solved.

Alternatively, if you feel you MUST retain the sack, try using moderate doses of WD40 to remove the foam scum. WD40 is a bettter light solvent than lubricant and it just might be the ticket.

3M Adhesive remover might work, but may also melt your sac. I had to use some on our inflatable SUP after the registration stickers kind of melted onto it.

This would be painful!!
